Choice Sober Living homes are located in nice residential neighborhoods within the Santa Clara area of Eugene. All of its residents have shared rooms. We currently have coed and male-only. In the near future, we will be opening a women-only home.
The curfew is at midnight. Residents are expected to attend their required number of sober meetings. Working residents must attend three meetings a week. While unemployed residents are required to attend five meetings a week. Court classes are counted as some of the required meetings. All residents must have a sponsor within the first 30 days of acceptance. Relationships between residents are prohibited.
Weekly chores will be assigned to all residents. The homes are DHS-approved and inspected. Kids are not allowed to live in our homes but are welcome to visit. Overnights must be approved by management. Residents are required to either attend school or get a job. UAs are done randomly by management as a tool for accountability.
All homes are fully furnished in very nice, well-kept homes. We also take pride in not overcrowding our houses as many sober living houses do. Each house has a large kitchen fully furnished, a large living room with a big screen TV, and BBQ, as well as an outside covered smoking area.
Upon arrival, a food and clothing box is available for those who may be in need. A resource manual is available for things like mental health, doctors, financial assistance, employment, where to find sober meetings, and much more.
The Company Director works with every person while working with social workers and the court system.
New residents must have a sober buddy go with them for the first two weeks anywhere they go for support.
